It completely solves the problems of cumbersome traditional detection processes, long time consumption, and difficult disposal of waste liquid. The sample does not require chemical pretreatment and can be directly injected, the operation is simple, the operation and maintenance costs are low, and it is suitable for the detection needs of multiple industries and scenarios.

Introduction to the RoHS Directive

TEU RoHS 1.0 (effective June 1, 2006) restricts six hazardous substances including lead, mercury and cadmium. RoHS 2.0 (effective July 22, 2019) adds four phthalate substances: Butyl Benzyl Phthalate (BBP), Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Di(2-Ethylhexyl) Phthalate (DEHP) and Diisobutyl Phthalate (DIBP). The limit value of all restricted substances is ≤1000ppm (cadmium ≤100ppm).This instrument enables rapid screening of the four newly added phthalates, and can be expanded to detect Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBBs) and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs). It is also compatible with the detection of Chlorinated Paraffins (CPs) and Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA) required by RoHS 3.0.

Standard Testing Protocol

According to the IEC 62321-8-2017 standard, the samples do not require complex pre-treatment. Just take 1-1.9mg of the sample and fix it onto the quartz tube. For liquid samples, directly drip them onto the quartz cotton and place it in the thermal decomposition device. The test can be conducted with just one click. The instrument is preset with optimized test conditions. Once the test is completed, a report will be automatically generated. The minimum detection limit is approximately 50 ppm, the linear correlation coefficient is greater than 0.999, and the RSD is ≤ 5%. This fully meets the requirements for rapid screening of phthalates in RoHS 2.0.

Work Environment Requirements

The indoor temperature ranges from 15℃ to 35℃, with a relative humidity of no more than 75%, free from condensation and corrosive environment; the power supply is 220V ± 10V (50Hz), with reliable grounding; it is equipped with 2 stable experimental tables measuring 1.5m × 0.75m and a dedicated sample processing table, meeting the requirements for instrument installation and sample processing.
